Logos. Fact sheet. A direct line.

Everything a journalist, editor, photo desk or producer needs to cover CCAS — from a 500-word fact sheet to vector logo files in light and dark, to the direct phone number of the spokesperson. We respond within twenty-four hours on weekdays and we don’t do background-only briefings: every quote is on the record unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing.

Logo files in PNG (transparent background) for dark and light placements. Please use the full lockup whenever space allows; the icon-only mark is fine for favicons, social avatars and tight thumbnails. Don’t modify the colours, don’t squash the proportions, don’t place either mark on backgrounds that compromise legibility.

CCAS — the Clean Cooking Association of Somalia — is an independent, non-profit, membership-based national association headquartered in Mogadishu. Established January 2026 in close consultation with the Federal Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, recognised by the Federal Government of Somalia, and aligned to the global Clean Cooking Alliance. Sixty founding members across government, private sector, civil society, research, donors and individuals.

The mandate is to coordinate Somalia’s transition to clean and modern household cooking across six concurrent pillars — policy, market, research, skills, partners, awareness. Governed by a General Assembly that meets annually, an elected Steering Committee that runs between assemblies, six pillar working groups that carry the day-to-day, and an independent Secretariat in Mogadishu.
